“We invited Grooveschool to run a series of parent/child bonding workshops as part of our extended Schools and Family Learning. These went down really well with the children and their fathers. They learnt how to DJ and performed in front of their after school club to great success and much breakdancing.”

Jenny Martin (Head Teacher) Telferscot

“We were looking for something a bit different for our community fun day this year. Grooveschool provided that amazingly on the day. The children and young people had never been able to get there hands on DJ equipment before so this was a real treat. It was great to have an older young person lead the session as well, this meant the children immediately connected and looked up to this Grooveschool project worker. the workshop worked really well in our space and we will definitely be using them again and hope to develop it to allow our young people a chance to perform for their own community fun days.”
